Marschall

"The Marschall Family." George G. Marschall, printed by Farmington Printing, 1998. I have acquired a book that lists the Marschall family of Scott and Dakota Counties in Minnesota going back five generations. It is 292 pages long and contains names and dates, some pictures and newspaper clippings, and photocopies of documents. I'd be happy to look anything up for you.

Before sending a request for me to look something up, please look over these names to see if they sound familiar. The book is divided into 5 sections:

Section 1: Henry I and Anna Barbara (Wilmes) Marschall
Section 2: Henry II and Margaretha (Fleming) Marschall
Section 3: Anton and Marie (Wilmes) Marschall, Peter and Anna (Wilmes) Marschall
Section 4: Anna (Marschall) and Jacob Mamer
Section 5: Karl and Margaretha (Hubley) Marschall
Many of the earliest people mentioned in this book were originally from Belgium and Luxembourg. After coming to America it seems they went directly from New York to Minnesota and the New Prague area. They settled in New Prague, Shakopee, Vermillion, Hastings area. Many are buried in cemeteries there. SJ1

Musick

"Genealogy of The Musick Family and Some Kindred Lines." Grover Cleveland Musick, revised by Egbert S. Musick, 1978 edtion. This book is a great resource for beginings. It has a great deal of information on the family of Elexious Musick I, 1718-1798, son of George Musick, Sr. Some of the places listed are Russell Co., VA, Washington Co., VA, Dickenson Co., VA, several places in West Virginia, Kentucky and St Louis Co., Mo. The book has names only indexed, not places. In several places I have been able to update and document the information presented and will include this information as well. KB3
