This is a generous history of Caroline County up to 1800 and contains many names of people living there from 1680 to 1800. It references many court records, which may still exist as it is based on 20th Century research. Lives of people in the 18th Century can be filled in if they figure in this book. No footnotes or bibliography are included. RH
